On the gayest night of the year at the gayest bar in Salt Lake City, a spot like Club Jam (751. N. 300 West) is guaranteed to throw one super gay party. But you shouldn’t wait till next year’s Pride Weekend to check out this LBGTQ-friendly dance club. Tuesday through Sunday, owners Noni Blake, Todd Crofts and Brian Morris (or The Three, as they’re known) open doors to one hell of a diverse crowd. To understand Club Jam, you have to look to the dance floor, where you’ll find dudes in short shorts dancing on pedestals and drag queens gettin’ down to Top 40 and house music. With specialty drinks like the Grape Shet (a $7 mystery vodka/grape concoction) and a nice selection of cheap drafts, Club Jam is worth a trip to the Marmalade district.
