Thousands assembled in downtown Salt Lake City on Sunday, June 5 to attend the Utah Pride Festival 2011 parade in celebration of community and equality. Miss City Weekly 2011, Nikki James, graced the crowd with her presence atop the hood of a black Cadillac as the parade wove it's way through the city.
Wjat great support the parade had this year. Perhaps this is a move forward towards gay rights. That is what started pride way back after the Stonewall riot!
