Michael Sandler, of Run Bare, was lucky to walk after a severe rollerblading accident broke his femur and left him without an anterior cruciate ligament in one leg. However, with the incorporation of barefoot running into his exercise regimen, Sandler not only regained the ability to run, he improved to a level better than before his accident.
Today, Sandler's mission is to communicate and educate the public about the benefits of barefoot running.
