My name is Conor Jensen, and I happened to be driving by the scene of a July 26 fire at 741 S. Roberta St. I could not help noticing the feeling of the calmness after the storm. It's as if time had stopped and a sigh of relief filled the air as our great firefighters were exiting the building still smoking and stripping their gear to get some fresh air and water.

A great effort on their part. I want to personally thank them for all the hard work they do in our community to keep us safe. (All photos courtesy of Conor Jensen)
