Posted // January 17,2012 at 13:48 - It's that big, heavy book with personal injury attorneys on all the covers that your Mom keeps in the bottom drawer of the kitchen. They used to hang in things called 'phone booths,' too, and you used it to locate phone numbers manually and alphabetically. The beginning of the end was when people would tear out the page holding their info because they were too fucking stupid to write it down or remember an address or phone number, rendering the book worthless. The pay phones went next. But your sarcasmm isn't wasted on me; I have a smart phone. All I have to do is push a button, wait for the prompt and yell,'Find Fucking Pizza!' and a map will appear with pizza joints all around my neighborhood. And once a week, I yell,"Find marajuana!" to see if it comes up with a hit on a nearby park or school ground.

And she runs the risk of Sandlerizing her schtick, whereby everything has to be funny if you use a silly voice, even reading a hot dog's ingredients list.

I guess it really comes from a total lack of self-esteem on your part, whereas you feel you have to demean others in an attempt to feel "better" than them and feel some sort of self-worth.
