Nate, please, put down the sword of righteous indignation.

Surely, you must read and hear about the number of times during the year that lawmakers, politicians and bureaucrats "run something by" the LDS Church to see if it will float with your church before they float it by the public or vote on it.

I find that to be offensive on a Constitutional footing that dwarfs your being offended because your church is "blah-blah-blah'd" by someone.

Stupid tax. They cold get the same amount of money by raising the gasoline tax by a little. Gasoline use hurts everyone's air. Most smokers only hurt themselves.

I agree that it may not be fair to only raise taxes for smokers but the fact is that like the woman said in the video there are a large number of low income earners that are smokers, and one day this bad habit is gonna catch up to them and they are going to need medical care and the tax payers are going to be the ones paying for that with medicare or medicaid. This is something that people dont often realize.

I agree with the complaints viewed here and it really made me think. Then at the very end I read "lds dominated" blah blah blah. You had me and you lost me. Must you constantly beat that drum? Why blame the church for everything? Do you know how offensive it is and it seems to be the easy way out of your complaints. You really had me for a minute and I was convinced but then you throw that in at the end. Because I am LDS I am going to be offended that you put that in there. Not all LDS people agree with this tax but then you slam us with a broad brush and it puts us on the defensive when I was with you. In any rate, it was well produced. Lose the ending.
