Sky’s the Limit
Park City’s luxurious Sky Lodge (201 Heber Ave., 435-658-2500) has shaken up its culinary program by launching two new restaurant concepts: Table One and Tavern. Table One is Sky Lodge’s new high-end eatery, featuring a 24-foot communal table as well as more traditional intimate seating. The Table One menu, created by Chef Kevin Dalebout—formerly of Deer Valley Resort’s Mariposa restaurant—features enticing dishes like Burgundy truffle gnocchi, free-range rabbit roulade, striped bass la nage, chile-rubbed Cervena venison and smoked Quinault River steelhead tartar. Entree prices range from $28 to $48.

Meanwhile, Tavern is a low-key artisan bar featuring British-inspired pub fare with a contemporary American twist. Chef Ashley Chapman—who studied with and worked for renowned Brit chef and Food Network star Gordon Ramsay—will dish up a ham-hock terrine, truffled macaroni & cheese, roasted bone marrow, bison cottage pie and pan-fried Utah trout, just to name a few of the eclectic Tavern menu choices. Also featured are signature cocktails, 55 imported and microbrew beers, and 25 wines by the glass. Visit TheSkyLodge.com for more information.

Up the Creek
Looking for a cozy spot to sip a warming libation and nosh on some great bar food? Millcreek Grill & Bar opened recently at 2020 E. 3300 South and features weekend brunch and live music from artists such as The Gene Pool, Nathan Spenser and The Freudian Slip. Classic pub fare like fish & chips, Buffalo chicken wings and nachos pepper the menu, alongside burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads and more substantial entrees such as grilled salmon with lemon-herb-garlic sauce, spaghetti & housemade meatballs, barbecued pork ribs with honey-bourbon sauce, roasted chicken with fresh herbs and garlic mashed potatoes, and a char-broiled New York strip steak. During Saturday and Sunday brunch, Millcreek Grill & Bar serves Irish coffee, Bloody Marys and mimosas for a mere $1.99 each. Or, imbibe a custom cocktail like the Drewski, Rattle Snake Gulch Martini, Creek Side Madras and Pipe Line Ice Pick. For more info, phone 801-484-0339.
