Vinto II
Fans of Vinto and its terrific wood-fired pizzas and other Italian-inspired bistro fare will be happy to know that there will soon be twice the Vinto. A Park City Vinto location is scheduled to open in February, in the Wasatch Summit Plaza at 900 Main, directly across from Mustang restaurant. Construction is still under way, but Vinto Park City should be open soon. It’s sure to be a great addition to lower Main Street. Vinto specialties include piadine (unleavened bread wraps), pasta, wood-fired pizzas, housemade gelato and a reasonably priced wine list. Visit Vinto.com for more information.

Mardi Gras in Eden
Looking for an interesting place to celebrate Mardi Gras? How about Eden? Eden, Utah, that is. Harley & Buck’s will host a Mardi Gras Celebration at their Eden restaurant Feb. 17 to 19, from 4 to 9 p.m. daily. Celebratory menu items will include fresh Gulf oysters, seafood or chicken & sausage gumbo, crab balls, crawfish, blackened fish, fried alligator and catfish, jambalaya, po’boys, shrimp etouffee, red beans and rice, bananas Foster and more. Don’t forget to wear your beads! Visit HarleyAndBucks.com for more information.

Orin Swift Wine Dinner
If you’re a fan of big, bombastic, voluptuous wines, you need look no further than Orin Swift. The wines are sensuous and seductive, to say the least. A good opportunity to taste Orin Swift wines will be the pre-Valentine’s Day Feb. 13 wine dinner at the Wild Grape Bistro. The menu includes warm spinach salad with duck confit, hazelnuts, grated egg and sherry vinaigrette, paired with Orin Swift Abstract; and Gorgonzola tartlets with fresh figs and Cabernet reduction with Orin Swift Palermo. The main course will be wood-grilled bavette steak with parsnip puree and blackberry demi glace, accompanied by Orin Swift Mercury Head (a killer wine). For dessert, there’s Belgian chocolate-ganache cake with espresso creme and Orin Swift’s The Prisoner. The price for dinner is $45 for food (plus tax and gratuity), and $55 for the optional wine pairings. This is going to be a great one—don’t miss it. Visit WildGrapeBistro.com for more information.
