Redesign Renders Ranters Speechless

The usually vocal City Weekly online commenters were silent this week—no doubt dazzled by our new site redesign, which launched May 12. The new look, featuring a clean, bright interface and a bold masthead, was designed by Kat Topaz, a former City Weekly production manager who now runs a national design company.

Our content remains the same, with a few pleasant changes: Sections have been streamlined, with the landing page for each section hosting a “river” of our latest blogs, news articles, entertainment guides and columns. The Events section is more navigable, so you can spend less time figuring out what to do this weekend and more time actually doing it.

Of course, it’s still a work in progress—we’re spotting and squashing bugs as we speak. Explore the site and let us know what you think by commenting on this article or dropping a line to comments@cityweekly.net.

And, once your eyes get adjusted to the form and function of CityWeekly.net, you can return to reading and shouting about the regularly published City Weekly news and features.
