"Indi Skies started her young drag career in September 2010 when she captured the title for the Royal Court of the Golden Spike Empire's Closet Ball Queen Pageant. Since then she has been involved in many fundraising events benefiting the gay and lesbian community. Growing up in conservative Utah County, her main focus has been to promote a community environment where acceptance and support abound. She believes that having strong and visible representatives for our people will give any who are struggling an avenue to be heard and receive the support that they so greatly need."

Reading this bio, I was struck by a thought: How many of our dragsters are former goody-two shoes Mormons? I mean, if you want to grow a real, fire-breathing pervert, you take one part conservative religious victim, one part stifled sexual indentity and energy, two parts normal urges, throw 'em together, mix thoroughly, add vodka and anti-depressants and viola! You have a Miss CW contestant! Inapproriate gender bone structure, fur in the wrong places, clown make-up and a wig.
Now, get out there and be somebody!
