“Annastasia Copeland-Rynders is a local printmaker born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been creating art since the moment she picked up a pencil at age 2. About five years ago Annastasia dabbled into printmaking and hasn’t looked back. Her favorite medium is etching, although she also paints, sketches, carves wood and occasionally screen prints. Annastasia recently graduated from the University of Utah with a B.F.A. In Printmaking, and a B.S. in Environmental and Sustainability Studies. Her passions and interests lie at the intersection of those two fields- art and the environment. Annastasia is interested in exploring the current conflicts, interactions, and changing relationship between the human race and nature, wildlife and landscape.”
