But the canyons in our backyard can often be neglected, and that’s why Carl Fisher, the director of local nonprofit Save Our Canyons, will be speaking at this forum hosted by the University of Utah’s Lowell Bennion Community Service Center in talking about being responsible stewards of our environment. Living Traditions Festival Volunteers Needed
May 16-21
The Salt Lake City Arts Council is looking for more than a few good men and women to come out and support this vibrant celebration of the diverse arts and cultures of Utah’s ethnic communities. Volunteers are needed for brief commitments to help with everything from setting up and taking down the festival to manning beverage sales and the bocce-ball court.
