I'm so tired of talks to build more downtown low I come housing! My wife and I don't qualify for low income credits, so we're forced to pay an inflated price and live with degenerates that don't know how to take care of the building. If everyone was paying the same as us, they wouldn't trash it the way they do!
Move the homeless/very low income to other neighborhoods, don't offer more downtown properties for them to live in. If you can't afford to live in the city, move your ass to another neighborhood! Before you comment know that these "low income" rates are far more than 60% of the income a family or individual would make. It's irresponsible and continues the cycle because these tenants cannot afford the lease rates they commit to. If they can afford it, usually there is other income that's not reported and that's not fair to people who work hard to pay and follow the rules.

Hey man/woman, look for an apartment in an area you can afford. There are rent prices in other neighborhoods outside of Downtown (where you should live!!) for much cheaper. It's ridiculous you're complaining about the "700-900" price tag considering I'm paying $1200 for the same apartment. I'm so tired of people getting a break when I work hard and have to pay much more. Live where you can afford, and downtown should be left for people who can afford the price tag. There are many other neighborhoods you can afford the price tag in, go there!
