Re: “Utah Beer Fest 2016

Jesse. I spent yesterday responding by phone and email to all complaints. There were about 7 total. Yours was not among them and no email with your name was forwarded to me. I'd be happy to discuss and remedy for you. Meanwhile, you're not being robbed.

Did you go to this link before coming to the festival?

https://utahbeer2016.pay.intellifest.com/i…

And did you read this from it? It was there the whole time.

What if I have leftover credit at the end of the event? What is the refund policy?
All credit left unredeemed by August 28th, 2016 will be refunded in accordance with the terms below:

• Credit and Debit Card: Leftover funds on your account purchased online or onsite at the event using a credit card will automatically be refunded back to your card (less a $3.50 refund processing fee) within 10 business days following the end of the event.

• Cash: Leftover funds on your account purchased onsite at the event using cash or debit card will require you to complete a Manual Refund Form on your online account page (less a $3.50 refund processing fee). The deadline to apply for a manual refund is September 3, 2016. Upon verification, the refund will be processed within 10 business days following the closure of the refund form.

please contact me at john@cityweekly.net if you have other questions.

Re: “Utah Beer Fest 2016

Tesa... This is John from City Weekly. Were you with three other people, all of whom were able to stay indoors out of the sun, got cash refunds, free beer and free merchandise, and an offer of new wristbands with additional tokens on them from City Weekly before being "escorted out"? That was me--the group wanted to leave, and the female among them did all the talking. I merely walked along and collected the old bands. I must have heard the word beer 50 times in a 3 minute walk. We tried our best to appease that group, (yours??). Be honest. The fest was not an epic failure, the entire system wasn't down, there were 400 persons among thousands affected by wristband issues (sorry you were among them) but we did have issues that we are correcting--at the festival, now and for later years. You came to a festival with expectations we didn't meet, and we are sorry for that and to anyone else who we let down. But we are not sorry you were "thirsty." As you posted elsewhere, you went home and turned on the AC and drank beer. Good for you, but we don't market this as a kegger. In nearly every case, that is the expectation we failed to meet. If you are not the same person I "escorted" out, my apologies to you. If you'd like to contact me directly to discuss, please do. John
