The name Herd Bull came from Lealand Porter Rockwell Pollock. It was picked up by my 20 or so of my county commissioners and then by legislators. These days I feel more like the gomer bull (Cowboys know what that means) but I really would like to live up to my constituents expectations. When I can no longer do that, I will turn the reins over to someone else.

Re: “The Herd Bull of the House”
Lealand Porter Rockwell Pollock, the County Commissioner from Garfield named me the herd bull. Now 20 plus commissioners use the name. My legislative colleagues have picked it up too. I feel more like a Gomer Bull these days, but I appreciate the confidence my commissioners and my constituents have placed in me. When I can't do the job any more I will hang up the Spurs and go home. Just don't want to stay past my time. I'm sure alote of folks on the Wasatch will cheer when I leave.
