Re: “Just Divorced

During my time of difficulty and heartbreak i was able to find refuge in the hands of Dr.AZA through his act of spell casting that he was able to bring my lover back within 48 hours, my husband left me and the kids for another woman and he said to me that he just want to be alone for sometime and i was so depress by his words and action but not knowing he did it because of another woman. The first time i read an article about Dr.AZA i was wondering if all the things that i read about were true because a lot of people where testifying about his good work, But since i was desperate to get my lover back i had no choice than to contact him through these details whatsApp number +2348107155060 and via email: azaspellcaster@gmail.com And to my greatest surprise i was able to get a positive result that got me shocked because my lover called me within hours that i contacted Dr.AZA.

Re: “Dear Mormonism

As a member of the church still today. I grew up in the church just as you did. I went to primary, young women's and now I am in Relief Society. I disagree with your standpoint and I feel that you are not portraying the church correctly. You are more portraying the people. Every religion as well as every non religious person will have their good and bads. However, 8 strongly testify that the people are not perfect in the gospel but the gospel is perfect. The principles taught are perfect. If you come to church more worried about the people around you and what they think, you'll find yourself in the position that you're in. The church preaches free agency on a regular bases. It is wrong to say you did the things you did because the church told you to. The commandments given by the church are laid down to help give us more freedom and allow us to have peace because I know I for one, do not know anyone who has sinned and felt good about it. Evil never was happiness. I am not saying that what you believe in is wrong because I respect your opinion but I don't think it was right for you to portray the church so wrongly.

Re: “Give!

Love this! Another great charity I totally recommend is the Utah chapter of Support the Girls. (http://www.brafittingsbycourt.com/support-…) (http://isupportthegirls.org/) It's Utah's first donation drive for bras and feminine hygiene products for women and girls in need in our state. They're collecting donations at 6 different locations until the end of the year, and they totally need more attention for how great of an idea this is!

Re: “Silent Survivors

Kudos for highlighting these women and this issue. The use of the term sex worker here diminishes the gravity of what these women face and their status as victims of unspeakable abuse. Being prostituted by pimps and johns is not an occupation, it is a form of oppression and as much as some choose it to survive, it chose them. These are prostituted people, victims of commercial sexual exploitation and should be referred to as such as not to minimize the truth of what this is. -A. Brauer, J.D.

Great articles, then and now. Fidel may have passed, but City Weekly marches on - still the best.

Re: “No Safety Net

As a former state employee assigned to work at Palmer Court I think it is important to support the staff and management of Palmer Court. I have seen the staff work tirelessly to maintain the campus, repainting, repairing and cleaning every single day. And so much more than that. Everyone works together to help people stabilize and heal. People who live in the community have very serious issues to cope with. The staff are kind, compassionate and humane - something that the residents have not always received. As long term resident said to me - we know what people outside of Palmer Court think of us and we know they wish we didn't exist. The life journeys of people living there are often horrendous and I don't know how they had the strength to keep living. Yes there are issues every day in living there and a few need help beyond the scope of what Palmer Court can provide. Before a person is evicted staff have gone above and beyond to help resolve the problems, find solutions, relocate, obtain more treatment and simply talk with the person involved. I am truly thankful that places like Palmer Court exist and are supported by the community.

Re: “Unhappy Campers

Well I care and I still care because it was my money that started up that filthy company. I get I can't do anything about it but rhere are a lot of us that still care Even now.

Re: “Unhappy Campers

The board members that replaced the hatch family and this is to include Don Hackett stole over 50k in a few months time before the money was gone. They called it their salary. No one prosecuted them for it or nothing. They got away with stealing from a non profit company and no one cared. Sad.

Re: “Unhappy Campers

The board of directors including Don Hackett embezzled I think he's only MKjg over 60k in just a few months even though the non profit was going under. They did everything they could to bleed that business dry just as he has done before. I did research and he has had more than 25 jobs! Why! Does that seem excessive? But who cares. They walked away Scott free with our money and no one cared. That's life for you.

Re: “No Safety Net

Shame that more information was researched on the effects Palmer Court has had on businesses in the surrounding area. The Rock Shop just two doors south of there has had a huge increase in theft within their store and even had a resident from Palmer Court urinate inside their store on the floor. A family run business that is considering moving to strictly online sales. I'm sure that the Chevron gas station would have shared plenty of their stories as well. These are just two of many businesses in the area that have been negatively affected by Palmer Court. The heart of the community is in the right place trying to help out the most destitute of our community, but it also takes a lot more work for all these public services by having so many congregated in one place. Thank you for a very insightful article into how the place is being run.

Re: “Weinergate: A Moment of Clarity

So -- still thinking Hillary and Trump are the same? Hillary -- won 75.9% of the African-American vote in the primaries and 88% in the general election. She was endorsed by John Lewis, Vernon Jordan, Myrlie Evers-Williams, the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, and given the name Strong Woman by the Palyallup Tribe -- which is EXACTLY LIKE having the KKK celebrate your win! Hillary -- she would have put in Steve Bannon in the White House -- as she is so "corrupt" and "dishonest" -- sorta -- vaguely -- although we have no idea what it is she is supposed to have done. The emails! right! The ones that proved -- three way sex! "Corruption!" "Lesbianism!" The emails -- they proved all that. Easy to play much? Complete embarrassment to yourself often?

You got the president you entirely deserved, John. Too bad the rest of us have to live with him.

As you work for a paper that pretends to be alternative, why don't you try catching on the REAL alternative press? There is plenty of it out there. You guys -- you make moderate Mormons (who are shocked and horrified at this election) look not only good -- but -- well -- radical. From now on, I band with them. They have yet to realize that "alternative" means none. They have not yet fallen to Hipster Cool Mind Petrification.

I'll post links, but read with caution. When you are Wholly Owned and Operated Subsidiary of Karl Rove, Inc. -- the source of the Clinton Is Corrupt! (Or Maybe a Witch!) hysteria of which you are a happy purveyor -- your small mind might be blown.

https://medium.com/@adrianjanchondo/owning…

https://medium.com/@CandaceKirby/congratul…

https://fanniesroom.blogspot.com/2016/11/e…

And speaking of that last -- an editor of a genuine alternative newspaper would read the four part series at the underground, as we used to call it, blog, Shakesville -- "Looking for Bernie." If you are opining without that you are writing blind.

I suppose I will still grudgingly pick up City Weekly for the restaurant reviews -- but I can't put enough distance between me and your politics to feel clean.

I will now go shower.

Re: “Whoa Is Me

I think it's great if you build people up with positive ideals. I also think it is irresponsible of you to label people with hateful rhetoric. Also I certainly hope these threats are not being made, as you know if you are sensationalizing something that isn't actually happening you can cause it to happen and that would truely be a disgusting thing to do.

Re: “Dr. Divorce

I am appalled that "Dr." Hale has a license and teaches this parent education class. I attended her class and it was talking more about Fabio and Bambi then about how to help our children. She also said "men in the LDS culture look at porn in hopes their wife will find it, kick them out and divorce them. Because it's frowned upon in our culture for men to leave their families. Once the divorce is over the men have no desire to look at porn." Appalling and a completely uneducated comment. I am horrified that this woman has done custody evaluations for years. I can only imagine how many children have been placed with the wrong parent.
