Re: “Homelessness Continues

Actually the reason most are homeless is very similar, they prioritized something else in life more than their housing. For some this is drugs, others a car, cell phones, tablets, or other material possessions. Sometimes it is their passionate desire to remain out of the confinement of a mental institution, despite their acute need for treatment in such. Some rebound and find a way back out, and in so doing change the way they look at life and how they live their life. A majority that I have worked with however do not want to change, they just want more handouts to keep the disruption to their lives to a minimum while they continue to place emphasis on the things that they place more value on than their housing and well being.

Re: “Today is the anniversary of Spanish Fork accidentally booking Rage Against The Machine and everyone losing their minds

This was a GREAT concert, to this day it still had more police officers then any other concert I have been to ( around 200 or so). The only 2 problems I remember were the kid climbing up the light tower, and some kid having a seizure. Other than that it went off without a problem. Just goes to show how people are like sheep and just follow the heard.

Re: “Mining Memories

Before my Dad passed away he told me he grew up in Bingham Canyon in a neighborhood called Frogtown. He said in the winter he remembers they would toboggan and in the summer he climbed in caves made by gold miners. He also climbed volcanic rock cliffs where owls were supposed to be. He remembers picking buttercups, bluebells and pussywillows to give to his Mother. Would love to hear anyone else's stories about what it was like living in Frogtown.

Re: “Mayhem in Moab

It's so easy to make comments and innuendos and the true facts be damned. I have met and known Justin, Steve and Josh. They are honorable men who have spent their lives helping those in need. They are professional in their jobs and above reproach. I know Josh has made some missteps since things. Went south, but they all deserve better treatment than what they have gotten. It's disgraceful how their reputations have been besmirched. Wake up Moab! Maybe the "good citizens and public servants" who stand to gain with these officers off the streets should be investigated.

Re: “"Natural" Breast Augmentation Not Risk-free

All surgery poses certain risks. It is normal to experience temporary bruising, swelling, tightness or numbness in the breasts after this procedure. Although they are rare, more serious complications such as infection, asymmetry or loss of sensation in the nipples or breasts can also occur.

Re: “Sealed Fate

Did Ida Smith know before her death that Christopher initially used lies and deception (as instructed) in order to develope a following or convince people to leave the LDS or organized religion or had Christopher "come clean " before her death? I'm curious to Ida's reaction when she found out that the Sealed Portion she so desperately desired to see for so many yers had in fact not been delivered nor translated and that she basically been fooled. Did Ida know she had been fooled by Christopher before she died? How many followers quit following once they learned they had been lied to for years (in many cases). Did Christopher only admit to lying after he got caught? If Ida was convinced to give family burial plot to Christopher while being lied too and deceived.... That would be extremely offensive to remaining family members. If she knew of Christophers deceptions and still was convinced to give away plot. ?......then that's her rightful choice (though it's obvious other family members who also had legitimate claim to the family plot wouldn't have so easily given their claim to Ida had they known her intentions.) Is it true that Christopher teaches that there is no need for One (Christ) who is without sin to be made a sacrifice for all the rest who have sinned so that the Law of Justice which saith....(Reap as sown) is fullfilled via the atonement of an Advocate, Jesus Christ?

Re: “Psychic Cheryl Merz

In my dream I came across a woman ( I have no idea where we were at, maybe waiting in some line). I'm standing behind her and she turns around to smile then gets a serious look on her face and asks if I've ever been to a medium before, I stated yes I have but it was about 6 years ago. She said that she was a medium and started urging me to have a private reading with her and said that she couldn't do it where we were at. She said I can tell you this, someone has been trying to get your attention and make contact. I see him chocking or grasping for air and his message is urgent. I started crying right away and told her that it was my grandpa ( he had CPOD and when he passed he was gasping for air).
She went on to ask if I was present when he passed and I said yes I held his had as he took his last few breaths. She told me her full name and continued to urge me to visit her or any medium that I trusted. I asked is she had a business card bc I'm horrible with names and would forget. The moment she went to put her card in my hand I woke up.
I now can't remember her name or what she looked like but know that I would recognize her if I ever saw her again. She did mention that she lives in SLC
Also she asked why I stayed with my grandpa and witnessed his passing. I told her that before he got really sick he told me that he was afraid of death and didn't want to die alone. I promised him that I would be right there with him no matter what, so when the time came I staid until the very end. She got a huge smile and said he thanks you for that and will never forget it.
My grandpa passed when I was 18, so back in 2003.

I've always experienced really vivid dreams even from a young age.
So From all of this I feel like I should get a reading done. Just wish I could find the lady from my dream. . . .

Re: “Jason Jarred

Hi, I am from Washington DC and Rep Chaffetz by chairmanship of the Government Operations Committee has the power to get Congress to overturn laws passed by our City Council, chief among them, to prevent us from spending our own tax money as we chose. While this is indeed Congress's Constitutional prerogative, I wonder how many of his constituents realize that he spends part of his time interfering in our business, just because he can. If he were indeed, "doing his job" he would be investigating questionable goings on in the Administration and leave Washington DC to govern itself.

I'd be grateful if his constituents would go to bat for us. Let him know that we deserve self government just as much as any other city or town in America.

Re: “"Do Your Job!"

Last year, Chaffetz said, "Let me loose," promising to be "like a kid in a candy store" investigating potential conflicts of interest in the event of a Trump presidency.

Today, Utahns are sending the congressman a whole store's worth of candy to remind him to follow through with an investigation. Bulk candy costs $10-$20 for a box; please consider making your own contribution to remind the congressman. We are coordinating to make our purchases today, while Chaffetz is still on the radar for his town hall. Join us! The more "gifts," the louder the message.

Here are the details:
1) Today (Friday 2/10), buy a large amount of candy to ship to Chaffetz's Utah office:
51 S University Ave.
Suite 318
Provo, UT 84601
2) Make it a gift, and in the message, say something like:
Congressman Chaffetz: In June 2016, you said you'd be like a kid in a candy store investigating Trump. Here's the candynow dig in! Do the right thing and do us proud. With love, The American Public
3) Take a screenshot of the checkout screen.
4) Tweet and share the screenshot on a Facebook (using public settings if possible), and share within political groups, using hashtag #sendchaffetzcandy

Be sure to include a link to the original 2016 article where Chaffetz talks about being a kid in the candy store. A good post might be something like:
Last year, House Oversight chair Jason Chaffetz promised he'd be "like a kid in a candy store" investigating Trump's potential conflicts of interest, but he's conveniently forgotten his promise. I sent him five lbs of Atomic Fireballs to jog his memory. #sendchaffetzcandy

Here's a Twitter-friendly version:
Chaffetz promised to investigate Trump "like a kid in a candy store," but seems he forgot. Remind him. #sendchaffetzcandy

Re: “Pronounced Echo

Yeah, more money! For a place that make us sign a lease saying "furnished apartment" when you move in there's no furniture. They like to call DCFS to remove kids under false accusations with no bases but the actual kids that have to get removed they applaud it. Families in here have to go to the LDS Church to actually get their furniture and food. And doing outside gathering for what people here only like to talk and gossip and bash people that are actually doing something to get out of this place. Other thing you put work orders to get stuff fix and it takes them months to get to it. Lots of drugs users on this place. Even the mailman stop coming due to a treath by a unstable resident. So why more money instead of actually doing their jobs and cleaning the place of this bad people. And actually do what they need to help does that are doing what they have to to get ahead with their lives. Stop acting like theirs no problem at this place.

Re: “Meet the Muslims

Wow, I guess I must remind the Imam that not all of us fall for his tales. Sharia means the path or way. That is why every time five times a day they start off their prayers with Sura 1 verse 7 which damns Christians and Jews. They repeat this verse 17 times a day to remind themselves that Allah damns Christians and Jews.
I hope others in the audience recognized this.
