On Thursday, September 1st beginning at 7:30 pm, Manoli's will team up with Scott Cunningham, sommelier and owner of Bottleneck Wine and Spirits, for a special wine pairing dinner showcasing some of Bottleneck's boutique small-batch wines.
The tentative menu and wine pairings are as follows:
Grilled halloumi, slow-roasted tomatoes, fried eggplant + 2014 Burgans Albarino, Spain
Tuna sashimi, roasted corn creme fraiche, honeydew, kataifi + 2015 Domaine Lefage Cote d'Est Blanc, France
Smoked salmon, green olive remoulade, carrot-Greek yogurt puree + 2014 Schug Pinot Noir, Sonoma
Katharismo melon sorbet
Seared duck breast, potato feta croquette, roasted wild mushrooms & peaches, 2013 Petrolo Torrione, Italy
Brown butter peach buckle, Metaxa green peppercorn ice cream + Flare Moscato, Italy
The cost for the tasting menu is $55 per person, plus tax & gratuity. The cost for the optional wine pairings is $45.
