Dear GYA, I don't understand why everyone is so pissed at me for saying it would have been cool if Anne Frank was a belieber. I mean really, what's the big deal? I just think it was amazing that she was deaf and blind and still a pretty cool chick. Anything happening today, as awesome as Anne Frank? - Justin Bieber ---

Justin, I think your confusing Anne Frank with Helen Keller. It's an easy mix-up considering their names are spelled and pronounced differently. But anways, here's some Anne Frank-worthy events for today...

Gypsy-americana band He's My Brother, She's My Sister will be on stage at The State Room this evening. Desert Noises will open things up. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Local author Brian Switek will be reading and sign his new book My Beloved Brontosaurus today at the King's English. The signing starts at 7 p.m.

The Capitol Theatre will be the scene of a brutal street fight between the Sharks and the Jets, otherwise known as the classic musical Westside Story. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $42.50.
