Dear GYA, I just finished watching that fantastic Accidental Racist video by Brad Paisely and I gotta say, it is really cool that the actor from that CBS show NCIS is trying to start a rap career. Good for him -- really. I loved how he rhymed chain with chain and I especially enjoyed it when he said "RIP Robert E. Lee." Genius. Anything happening today that's as good as country-rap? - Heather Purgundle, Sandy---

Heather, Nothing beats a good old-fashioned country-rap song. "Thug Story" with T-Swift and T-Pain is on nonstop rotation on my Zune. Here's what's up with today's events:

Rock band Acid Mothers Temple will be at Urban Lounge tonight, starting at 9. Tjutjuna and Rainbow Black are also on the bill. Tickets are $12.

Indie-punk band The Atom Age will be holding down The Shred Shed this evening. Max will be warming things up. The all-ages show starts at 8. Tickets are $6.

At The State Room, pop-rock band The Parlotones and Dinner and a Suit will be onstage. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $14.
