Dear GYA, I truly hope Louisville basketball player Kevin Ware has a speedy recovery from last weekend's gruesome leg injury. But guys, I can't stress this enough -- you can't skip leg day. I know we all want to look like like we're packing a couple of glazed hams in our necks, but if you're not yolkin' the legs on a regular basis, you're gonna have a bad time ... case in point. Anything going down today after I get my legs nice and swoll? - Max Grundle, Spanish Fork---

Max, Everyday can be leg day if you wear ankle weights or tape buckets of water to your shoes. Here's what's up for today after your intense workout:

Metalcore band Parkway Drive will be at In The Venue this evening. While She Sleeps and The World Alive are also on the bill. The show starts at 8. Tickets are $17.50.

Indie-folk band Paper Bird will be at Urban lounge, starting at 9 p.m. Hollering Pines and The Bully will be warming things up. Tickets are $7.

Author of The Boy and the Airplane, Mark Pett will be signing and reading at The King's English Bookshop, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
