What’s new on the ‘lectro thing tonight:

How I Met Your Mother (CBS) Great, more Robin Sparkles—but this time, she gets the rise-and-fall-and-de-Canada-ized Behind the Music treatment. So, that should be funny for about three minutes. ---Must admit, however, that Robin’s Grunge/Alanis phase looks pretty hot … and frightening … and hot again.

Rules of Engagement (CBS) Season Premiere: Seven seasons—Rules of Engagement cannot be killed, so you might as well learn to live with it. As CBS sitcoms go, Rules is less obnoxiously ubiquitous than The Big Bang Theory, livelier than the running-on-fumes-of-fumes Two & a Half Men, less vagina-obsessed than 2 Broke Girls and definitely skinnier than Mike & Molly. Also, it keeps David Spade too busy to make movies; for that alone, ’Merica should be sending fruit baskets to CBS.

Monday Mornings (TNT) Series Debut: From TV legend David E. Kelly and TV doctor Sanjay Gupta comes … Grey’s Anatomy relocated to Portland? Yeah, but waaay more talky. Being a pretty doctor is hard, you guys!

Also new tonight:
The Bachelor, Castle (ABC); 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, Hawaii Five-O (CBS); Bones, The Following (Fox); The Biggest Loser, Deception (NBC); 90210, The Carrie Diaries (The CW); Continuum, Being Human, Lost Girl (Syfy); The Next Great Baker, Cake Boss (TLC); Switched at Birth, Bunheads (ABC Family); Hoarders, Intervention (A&E); Love & Hip-Hop, Black Ink Crew (VH1); The Layover With Anthony Bourdain, Hotel Impossible (Travel); RuPaul’s Drag Race (Logo); Lizard Lick Towing (TruTV); Pawn Stars, American Pickers (History); The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Bravo); Teen Mom 2, Catfish (MTV); Dallas (TNT); WWE Raw (USA)
