In a return of our annual tradition, here are suggestions for Locals Quick Pass holders and other Utah-based Sundancers regarding where to focus their attentions. ---

Today's offerings include a film already given a stamp of approval by the Academy Awards: No, a nominee for Best Foreign Language Film. Music documentaries are also out in force, from the profile of backup singers Twenty Feet from Stardom to the look at controversial jailed rockers in Pussy Riot -- A Punk Prayer.

If you're interested in exploring other kinds of controversy, the U.S. Competition documentary After Tiller takes a great clear-eyed look at providers of late-term abortions. And Blue Caprice attempts to dramatize the fact-based story behind the Washington, D.C., "Beltway Sniper."
