What’s new on the TV-lookie box tonight:

Up All Night (NBC) Season Premiere: Ava’s (Maya Rudolph) talk show has been canceled! Which means Reagan (Christina Applegate) has to return home to play mom while Chris (Will Arnett) looks for a new lawyer job. ---On one hand, sucks for Ava; on the other, there are just waaay too many daytime talk shows—something had to give.

The Office (NBC) Season Premiere: The final season, and The Office is still bringing on new characters—tonight’s are younger clones of Jim and Dwight. In slightly more interesting news, Andy is plotting his revenge on job-stealing Nellie (yes, she’s still around).

Parks & Recreation (NBC) Season Premiere: Leslie goes to Washington, D.C., and meets real Senators John McCain, Olympia Snowe and Barbara Boxer. Just in case that cameo-palooza screws the comedy pooch, Ron throws a BBQ back in Pawnee. Oh, yeah.

Wilfred (FX) Season Finale: Ryan and Wilfred face some tough existential questions, says here. It doesn’t say anything about answering any tough existential questions, so we’ll just have to hope for a third season. Or this weird little universe collapsing in upon itself and the series ending in complete blackness tonight. I’m up for either one.

Also new tonight:
Wipeout (ABC); SNL Weekend Update Thursday, Rock Center With Brian Williams (NBC); The X Factor, Glee (Fox); The Next (The CW); The Real Housewives of Miami (Bravo); Project Runway, Prom Queens (Lifetime); Awkward (MTV); The First 48 (A&E); Louie, Totally Biased (FX); Childrens Hospital, NTSF:SD:SUV (Adult Swim)
