Police investigate possible suicide at Main Library

Police officers are currently on scene at the Salt Lake City Public Library investigating what was initially termed "a suspicious death."---

The incident occurred this morning around 10:30 a.m. A library spokesperson said there were no further details. However, a Salt Lake City Police Department press person said officers at the scene had reported that it appeared to be a suicide.

The body was found by the front entrance to the library.

The officer declined to reveal the gender or identity of the person.
