Engineers Without Borders Greater Salt Lake Chapter will host a fundraiser with the doc, Citizen Architect, Thursday, Nov. 10.---

The flick is about the late Samuel Mockbee and the Rural Studio that he established at the University of Auburn. Many folks locally are familiar with a similar nonprofit institution housed at the University of Utah. DesignBuildBluff helps build one sustainable home in Bluff, Utah, per year. You can read an interview with director Hank Louis here.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the screening. The proceeds will go towards EWB’s current and upcoming projects in Honduras, Uganda, Nepal and the Navajo Nation. The film will start at 7:30 p.m., with a reception beforehand at 6:30 p.m.
