The Salt Lake Film Center marks two anniversaries--its own, and Thelma & Louise--with a special evening featuring one of the film's iconic stars. ---

On Sept. 28, the now-10-year-old Salt Lake Film Center presents at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center an evening with Geena Davis, Academy Award nominee for her role in the 1991 film Thelma & Louise, which featured several Utah locations among its key scenes. Utah Office of Tourism managing director Leigh von der Esch will moderate a conversation with Ms. Davis about the film and her career. A screening of Thelma & Louise will also be part of the evening, as well as a Q&A featuring producer Mimi Polk Gitlin.

Tickets are $50 for the general public, with a special $42.50 price for SLFC members. It's one night only, so grab your ticket soon.
