Come out to Solar Day Saturday to learn more about pimping your home or business sout with solar panels and other green improvements.---

If you can’t beat the heat, you might as well use it to power your home or business. That’s the attitude many are taking when looking at using solar panels and other home and business greenovations. Come to the Salt Lake City Solar Day event, courtesy of the Salt Lake City Office of Sustainability, Salt Lake County Green, Utah Clean Energy, and IBEW Local 354, for music, speakers and presentations from numerous green vendors.

Check it out Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Central City Recreation Center, 615 S. 300 East
