Grand Cru Chablis Dinner @ Zucca

Got dinner plans this Thursday? If not, here's a very tempting option. Zucca Trattoria in South Ogden will host a Grand Crus Chablis Dinner featuring four courses paired with four different French Grand Cru Chablis. --- The evening kicks of at 6:30, March 31, with sips of Prosecco, followed by dinner at 7:30. 

The menu looks great! Here are the four courses and pairings:

Malpeque oysters with sea water foam and smoked Maldon salt flakes/Jean Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis, 2008

Poached lobster & prawn, avocado mousseline, chervil, black truffle vinaigrette/Jean-Paul & Benoit Droin Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons, 2008 

Sole timbales with Marcona almond mousse, sauce Nantua moderne/Vincent Dauvissat, Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons, 2009

Roasted organic chicken supreme with black truffles, aligot & roasted baby carrots/Domaine Christian Moreau Pere & Fils, Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos, 2008

For dessert, there's mignardise of brioche pain perdu, seal salt & caramel.

The price: $40 for the dinner/$45 for wine pairings, plus tax & gratuity.
