4 O'Clock Shadow Tour Blog: Day 2

Posted By on November 9, 2009, 12:27 PM

Local hip-hop artists Pat Maine (aka Kinnetik), YZE and MC Pig Pen are currently on the road representing Utah's scene. While touring is considered somewhat of a given for SLC rockers, it's less common for emcees/DJs to take frequent out-of-state trips to promote their skills. Some say it's more difficult to book hip-hop shows and to jump on bills with rappers who are fiercely territorial. We'll be following the 4 O'Clock Shadow Tour and wish the threesome good luck.

Los Angeles @ The Airliner

The third stop on our 4 o' Clock shadow tour featuring MC PigPen, Pat Maine, and YZE. If no other states/venues/scenes could prove to you that the love of hiphop in it's raw form is still very alive "The Airliner" did just that. The show took off with a momentum that did not stop until the very last performance was over. Special appearances from Percee P, and Double K from People Under The Stairs, and live art from the "Axe Murderer." Most of the artists were on tour from all over the country, there were a few LA locals holding it down. Urban Underground Productions were there reporting on the local scene. We were very welcomed and supported by the crowd, who definitely vocalized if they were unimpressed—once again establishing the vibe that "The Airliner" is surely a proving grounds of up coming artists. Stay posted Salt Lake.
