Dear GYA, I'm pretty excited that one of my all-time favorite beers, Fat Tire, will finally be available here in Utah. But, for beer snobs it's bittersweet. I mean, now that it's here, what will we possibly bitch about? Before, berating bartenders for not having Fat Tire was one of our favorite things to do -- Jesus. Is there anything happening today better than bitching about Fat Tire? - Rick Porterstein, Sugar House---
Rick, Well, you could always try some %uFFFDlocal beers that some would argue are just as delicious -- but that's not as fun, is it? Here's what's up for today:
At Rio Tinto Stadium,%uFFFDReal Salt Lake will be facing off with the Carolina Railhawks. The match starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $20.
Reggae legend Alpha Blondy and his 12-piece band Solar System will be at Park City Live tonight at 8. Tickets are $20.
Crucialfest 3 kicks off tonight at the Woodshed and Kilby Court. At 5:30, Kilby Court will be featuring Eli Whitney, Temples, Water Liars, The Hung Ups and Katkills Mountains. While at 8, The Woodshed will showcase tunes from God's Revolver, Pleasure Thieves, Slow Mover, John Ross Boyce & His Troubles, Top Dead Celebrity and Heartless Breakers. Both shows are $10.
