One Last Snowride

There's currently unbelievable mid-season snow at Wasatch Front resorts, yet the air is warm and it smells of spring. There are historically amazing conditions for mid-April.---

Another reason to go: Some resorts are even offering discounted lift tickets (or  purchase discounted passes at Sports Den in Foothill Village). You won't even need your rock gear; coverage is deep and complete, and it's firm snow, not mushy spring stuff. But don't wait: Park City Mountain Resort, Canyons, Solitude and Snowbasin close this weekend (4/17), Brighton and Alta close on the 24th (though Alta will reopen April 29-30 and May 1). Plus, nearly all resorts now have an unauthorized tailgate party on closing day -- a great way to say a final goodbye to winter.

If you've already hung up your winter gear, grab it and go for one last ride. You'll be really, really glad you did.
