This just in: CBS has (unofficially) canceled Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance. This just in-er: Hannah Montana “ruined” Billy Ray Cyrus’ life. Hey, join the club, assclown.---

What's new tonight:
Hellcats (The CW) In light of recent revelations, law student Marti (Alyson Michalka) may finally get that Wrongly Convicted Guy out of prison, after all—and here I wrote that storyline off months ago. Meanwhile back at Cheertown, the Hellcats deal with the possibility of losing their funding by … throwing a toga party? Yeah, Hellcats! Nothing is over until you decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! (Wiki Animal House, kids.)

Glee (Fox) Rachel (Lea Michelle) wants to be popular; apparently Sam (Chord Overstreet … Chord?) wants to get beat up, because he’s forming a Justin Bieber tribute band; and Sue (Jane Lynch) just wants her Cheerios back. You know, Glee would be a fine little comedy if it weren’t for all of the damned singing and dancing. Just sayin.’

Lights Out (FX) Despite age, the onset of dementia and zero support on the home front, “Lights” Leary (Holt McCallany) goes into deep training for his rematch with the much-better-nicknamed “Death Row” Reynolds. Lights Out has ticked up slightly in the ratings in past weeks, but it’s still not out of the Terriers danger zone—a mash-up of Rocky and The Wire is a weird sell, but this series is up there with FX’s best (which is saying something, given the net’s near-perfect track record). Once you’re in, you won’t tap out.

Also new tonight:
NCIS, NCIS Los Angeles, The Good Wife (CBS); The Biggest Loser, Parenthood (NBC); Raising Hope, Traffic Light (Fox); One Tree Hill (The CW); Tosh.0, The Onion SportsDome (Comedy Central); Melissa & Joan: Joan Knows Best (We); Southland (TNT); Conan (TBS)

Preview: Lights Out gets even intense-r. Do you really need 20/20 vision to punch a dude’s head off?
